Dr. Emily Kiernan, DO, FACEP, FAACT

Dr. Kiernan is an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine and an attending physician at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. She is staff toxicologist at the Georgia Poison Center and an addiction medicine physician at the Grady Medication Assisted Opioid Treatment Clinic. She is a board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network (2014-2018), and medical toxicology fellowship at Emory University/CDC (2018-2020). She has serves as the Chair for the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology Radiation Section as well as a Chair of the American College of Medical Toxicology Fellow-in-training association. Her interests include chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear emergencies, disaster preparedness, critical care toxicology, rural medicine, education, and addiction medicine.
