Dr. White started his career as a firefighter/EMT with Carroll County Fire Rescue and West Georgia Ambulance in Carrollton, Georgia. After 5 years in EMS & the fire service, he entered Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia in 2009. Afterwards, he completed Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

 

Upon completion of residency Dr. White entered active duty service with the United States Air Force where he served as the EMS Director for Eglin Air Force Base. Additionally, Dr. White received further training through USAFSAM and C-STARS as a critical care flight physician. Dr. White is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UAB.
