  In the last few years, collectively, as citizens of this world, we were met with the unprecedented challenges of combating a pandemic. We lost many. We were given a good dose of reality check in humanity. But through it all, we, the emergency medical community, stood firm in the eyes of this storm, and did what we were trained to do: We took care of our community. We, the RCEM conference planning committee, would like to salute all of you for the unwavering dedication, the altruistic sacrifices, the abiding bravery, and the utmost professionalism that you have demonstrated in taking care all that were in need, without prejudice .
